A Little About Me

I grew up in the small farming community of Powell Butte, Oregon. I attended Oregon State University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Business and a Minor in Communications. After college I moved to Portland and started my real estate career in 2006. I have built a business primarily based on referrals from satisfied clients. My passion for real estate and helping people allows me to provide homebuyers and sellers with a sense of security, knowing my first priority is making sure their needs and goals are met. Whether a client falls in love with the first house they look at, or it takes them 2 years to find the perfect one, I'm committed to making sure every client is well represented, informed, and happy!

"Jamie is collaborative and trustworthy. This is seen in her working relationships with her JMA colleagues, who cover for each other in case of need, as well as with other realtors. In regard to our home purchase, Jamie and the seller’s agent agreed to chip in to provide a home warranty to help bridge the gap between buyer and seller, and this enabled the sale to be completed.
This is also an example of Jamie’s skill in negotiating, evaluating a situation, and selecting a strategy or combination of strategies to maximize the chances of a successful outcome. Additional examples include choosing an appropriate offer and deadline, and if initially rejected, requesting to be placed in backup position. Jamie uses technology effectively to enhance communication and the process of making an offer and negotiating a deal. She is also a skilled photographer, giving an accurate and attractive representation of a property. We really like the photos she took of our home. A big help for us is her flexibility, many times arranging to show us a house on short notice. She is a nice person, yet I can tell that in business interactions she is assertive and even tough, a great advocate for her clients.
She does her homework to find comparables and estimate value. In our home sale, she helped us understand how our house compared in the local market. Her advice saved us time and work on our house that would not have added to its selling price or salability. We had been hoping for a higher price and an onslaught of offers, but once the house was on the market, we realized Jamie’s evaluation was accurate. We thus felt comfortable increasing our flexibility and ended up with a quick cash sale that we feel very good about.

 Above all, Jamie’s professional goal is for her clients to be fully satisfied with their purchase or sale decision. Therefore, she does not put pressure on clients, even if it means she would be losing a sale. In cases where we had second thoughts about an offer, she sought to understand our desires and decisions so that she could identify properties that were more likely to suit us.

 Since we first met Jamie, she has married, purchased and remodeled a home, and given birth to a beautiful daughter.
